What Is An Alias?
An alias is a nickname for a real email account. You can use aliases
to create several email addresses that all point to the same mailbox.
You cannot have an alias with the same name as any other email feature
on your domain. To set up an alias, click on 'New Aliases' under 'Quick
Links.' Choose the email address you wish to create the alias for from
the drop-down menu, and enter the name of the alias. For example, if
you create an alias named 'Front' and set it to correspond to the
'Postmaster' email account, any mail sent to 'front@yourdomain.com'
would go to the Postmaster inbox. Click 'Add' to save the changes.
What Is Alias Forwarding?
A forward is a way to send any mail that comes to an account on your
domain to an email address on another provider. To do this, click on
'Aliases Forwards' under 'Main Menu.' Select an Alias account. Enter
the full email address where you want the mail to be sent. Click 'Add'
to save the changes.
